Catherine Stone

I have always been fascinated by the human body, and really enjoy helping people feel revitalized.  I got into massage originally when I was travelling in Thailand and did a traditional Thai massage course, and my interest grew from there.

I completed a BTEC Level 4 in holistic massage, a BTEC Level 5 in sports and remedial massage, a diploma in pregnancy massage, a diploma in manual lymphatic drainage (Vodder Technique), and a diploma in Thai massage from Chiang Mai, Thailand.  Alongside those main qualifications, I have done various Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses, e.g. in myofascial release.  For acupuncture, I trained (to degree level) at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading, a leading institution, from where I also gained my Tui na diploma.  I was taught by leading practitioners, who inspired me in many different ways, and I am continually inspired to keep learning.  I enjoy doing my CPD, researching and reading – Chinese Medicine is a life-long training.

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authorities (PSA).  You can read more about them and about acupuncture at: https://www.acupuncture.org.uk/.

Based in London, I treat clients at my home clinic on Hornsey Rise,  near Archway / Crouch End / Highgate.
